We are pleased to inform you that Elora has gained over 2 pounds since birth! Today she is 3 lb, 7 1/2 oz. She is looking bigger and healthier every day! Instead of getting a continuous drip of milk through her feeding tube, she has graduated on to "big girl feedings". She is now getting fed every 3 hours about 1 oz of milk into her feeding tube. This means she now experiences the hungry/full/hungry/full rhythm of a newborn.

Today we had our first Medcalfe family visitor - Gayle! She is Peter's aunt from Indiana -the first one on Peter's mom's side of the family to meet Elora. We enjoyed catching up with her and spent most of our time just staring at little Elora. We can't wait for her to get bigger and stronger and one day go visit the rest of the family in Indiana!
