Because she reached four pounds, she graduated to a "big girl" bed! Her incubator now has the top half lifted up. So, now we can see her without having to look through the glass. We can reach in and grab her anytime we like. This makes diaper & outfit changes a lot easier - not to mention seeing and hearing her much clearer. She has a cute mobile hanging over her and a little heater in case she needs it, but overall has been doing really well maintaining her body heat.
We had a great time with her this weekend. We gave her a bath on Saturday, which was really fun. She cried more this time than her first bath - but overall did well. She was able to be held for the first time this weekend by both of her grandmas! Up until this point Peter and I were the only ones to be able to hold her. So, when they gave us the head's up to let them hold her, it was so much fun. You can only imagine how excited they both were :)
Elora has both an eye exam as well as a head ultrasound this week (Tues and Wed respectively). We ask for continued prayer for both areas of her body.
Enjoy a few pics from the weekend!
