There is something I like about being able to say I am 16 weeks pregnant. I can't put my finger on it, but it just feels like I am not "newly" pregnant any longer. It feels like I have been pregnant for a long time now, even though I fully realize I have a long ways to go!
A friend gave me a book called "The Belly Book". It's a great book for those (like me) who aren't exactly great at journaling. The book is broken down by week and prompts the pregnant mother to answer lots of questions about how she is feeling that week, what she is craving, how her belly is measuring, and so on. I really like it because it doesn't take much time to complete each week -yet will be SO FUN to look back on and remember what was going on at each stage of the pregnancy.
A lot of people ask if we have decided on a name for our baby. We do have a name picked out if it's a girl. However, if it's a boy, we have no ideas! None! We just can't find a boys name that we like and agree upon. So, we've decided to stop searching for boys names until we find out the gender next month. If it's a boy, you will no longer be able to find baby name books at the library because I will have checked them all out ..sorry!
I have very recently started to think about the baby's room. I have a few ideas in mind - but nothing set by any means. If anyone out there has ideas for places for bedding, decor, etc, please let me know!
Peter and I recently booked a 3 night stay in Las Vegas for April. We decided we wanted to go on one last getaway before baby comes and get out of the MN cold! We plan to chill out at the pool by day...and eat buffet food and see shows by night! We booked Cirque de Soliel tickets - which I am super excited about since I have never seen it!
