I've decide it's a girl. I am not sure why - I just woke up one day last week and had a "feeling". Since then I've tried convincing myself and everyone around me that it's a girl, too. I'll tell Peter "look..my belly is spreading wide like I'm carrying a girl" or "the heartbeat is really fast, it must be a girl". Not sure how much I believe in the wives tales around determining gender, but time will surely tell! We find out the gender March 21. Only 4 week, 4 days, and 20 minutes away. But, ya know, who's counting:)?
So, what's new with the pregnancy, you ask?
Well - not a whole lot! I am kind of at a boring phase where I am not really sick anymore, yet I can't feel the baby move yet. So, it's kind of uneventful for now (I realize that will change over the next 6 months!). So for now I am just enjoying feeling good and listening to the heartbeat every few days.
I will say that I am having a bit of a hard time sleeping now. I just have a hard time getting comfortable. They say you should avoid sleeping on your back or stomach while pregnant. Take a wild guess which positions I tend to sleep!?
That's all for now! Check back next week!
You look great Sarah!! And from an old pro I can guarantee the wives tales are just that. Everyone thought Libby was a boy because I carried out front and the nurse was sure Will was a girl because his heartbeat was fast! But, I do trust those mommy instincts. Matt and I knew Anna was a girl from the beginning...so I think you are probably right! Can't wait to hear the exciting news!
