I've popped! I was feeling some growing/stretching pains in my stomach last weekend and can now see why. My squishy, blubber belly now is taking a rounder shape and firming up a bit (what I have been waiting for!).
I'm 17 weeks today and it also happens to be my birthday! I have a new outlook on this next year of my life, knowing that it will be wonderful, hard, new, unpredictable, and completely awesome with this little one coming in August. I am so thankful to God for His miracle in my life and in my body. As I read each week about how the baby is forming and growing, it makes me stand back in awe of it all.
I am still feeling really good. I never get nausea any more and I feel energetic overall. Only a few more weeks until we find out the gender, which we can't wait for! We each picked out a girl and a boy outfit this week when we were at the mall, which was super fun. It's strange, yet exciting to see baby stuff in our house!
