The weather was beautiful this year on Elora's birthday which made it all the more fun. All she wants to do each day is be outside. So, although we had some indoor activities, she was able to spend a lot of the day outside!
The morning started with birthday breakfast. Piggy pancakes were a must! We ate, got ready for the day and then headed out to the pet store where she got to pick our her present; a fish! She named him Benny and we were happy to welcome him to the family.
Around lunchtime, we headed to Chuck E Cheese's with my parents. Although Elora was hesitant at first, she eventually got comfortable being there and liked hopping from game to game. But after eating our pizza lunch, all she wanted to do was go outside! So, outside we went and walked around the lovely park area nearby. She was in her glory!
After nap time I brought her on a walk and made a special birthday stop at Dairy Queen for a cone. The rest of the day was spent playing outside and having nice family time.
