Mammarazzi
I have pretty much been a "Mammarazzi" since the day Elora was born. I take pictures on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis of her. My computer files are organized by the weeks of her life...not the months. I know - a little crazy. But, I love to take pictures and can't resist capturing her dimples and cute outfits!
I took a photography class last week with my friend, Emily. We had such a blast! We learned tips and techniques for photographing kids from birth through high school. The instructor touched on posing, clothing, composition, getting a good smile, and most importantly lighting (lighting is everything people!). There were 75 moms, aunts, and grandmas in the room learning how to photograph the kids they love all while eating cheese, fruit, chocolate, and sipping wine. Ummmmmm.....amazing.
This morning I decided to go outside and take some pictures of Elora and then edit the pictures using an online editing site I stumbled upon recently www.befunky.com.
Elora started sitting up unassisted on her birthday two weeks ago. So, taking pictures has become that much more fun now that I don't have to try to take pictures of a baby laying down or propped up awkwardly.
Enjoy a few pictures and happy Memorial Day!

Cute photos Sar! And fun class! Can't wait to hear specifics about what you learned. I'll have to check out that new site, too.
