Slow Time Down

I never thought I would get to the day when I want Elora to slow down growing. Each day I look at her, she seems bigger and has a new trick up her sleeve to show me. I truly am in awe. Her new thing is that she recognizes her bottle, knows it means FOOD!, and wants to put the bottle in her mouth on her own (it was sooooo last month to have mommy and daddy help put the bottle in).
I recently made a shadowbox frame for Elora's room with her 1st size diaper in it.  It honestly took my breath away to see how far she has come and big she has grown (and how stinkin' little that diaper was! They are specially made for preemies under 2 lbs). I just want to bottle her up right now and be able to remember what this stage was like. How little (yet big) she is and how wonderful, joyful, and healthy she is.
This week we tested her out in a size 2 diaper.  My poor dad was babysitting Elora during the "test" and ended up having to change her leaky diaper, wet clothes, and wet bedding. Oooops - I guess the size 2 is a little too big yet!  So, we'll continue her in size 1 diapers for a little longer. I have to admit, the size 2 diapers seem so BIG!  I know....all of you parents with kids in size 5 diapers are laughing at me right now.  But, take a look below and see where I started from. You would think a size 2 diaper is big, too!  :)

When Elora was born, these micro-preemie diapers were to big, we had to fold them down
