Baby girl is starting to move around more and more! The strongest kicks and nudges tend to occur between 3 and 5:00 AM (lucky me!). I sometimes just lay there for a while with my hand on my belly and enjoy feeling her move around before falling back to sleep. One time (yes, only one time so far) Peter was able to feel a kick - super fun! I know he'll have lots of chances to feel more movements in the weeks & months ahead.
I had a Dr appointment this week and all went well. We listed to the heartbeat and my Dr. took measurements of my uterus for the first time. I measured at 22 weeks, which is right on track! Next time I go in they do the testing for gestational diabetes, so it will be longer than my typical 15 min appointments.
Our crib was delivered over the weekend and Peter assembled it this week. It looks AWESOME! I was a little nervous since we ordered it online and had never seen it in person. But, I simply love it and think it goes so well in the room.
Hooray for baby girls!! And new cribs!! It is such a fun season. Have fun at that diabetes test...I'd recommend the orange flavor if they give you a choice : )
