I am so proud of my sister! She can now claim the right of passage known as labor and delivery :)
My sister was supposed to be induced today. However, thankfully baby girl came on her own earlier this week. I was at the computer Sunday night, about to purchase a plane ticket to Chicago so I could be there when the baby arrived (after induction). Before I hit "confirm purchase" my phone rang and it was my sister telling me she was having what she thought were contractions. Thank goodness I didn't buy the ticket! She went into the hospital around 2AM and the baby was born at 3:29 PM. All went as well as can be through labor and delivery. My sister's goal was 4 pushes - and she was close - she did it in 5! Twenty-ish minutes of pushing and baby was here!!
Weighing 7lb, 6 oz, and born on
Labor day - Hannah Rose Pietrini is as beautiful as ever with her dark hair, olive skin, and miniature features. I was so happy to arrive in Chicago just a few hours after she was born and see her in her first days. Plus, Elora got to meet her new baby cousin!
I now have 4 nieces and nephews and couldn't be a more proud auntie!!
