MN State Fair

We enjoyed the morning at the Minnesota State Fair today!

Since Elora was still in the hospital this time last year - we definitely had to introduce her to the Great Minnesota Get Together this year!  We ate cinnamon rolls with coffee, roasted corn on the cob, and a funnel cake. We visited many of the animal barns and exhibits.  Contrary to my husband's thoughts on the Mirale of Life Barn (he says "the miracle of life is nasty"), I love all the live births/baby animals.  Ok yes, live births are not glamorous, but seriously - I just love those wobbly baby sheep and blind little piglets so much...can't get enough!

Elora did well considering what a sensory overload the state fair is. And she loved having Grandma and Grandpa Morrow by her side! This year she ate baby food - but next year hopefully she can try some fair food!

Elora's first bus ride!

It was a family affair!

HAVE to get the corn...

Elora taking it all in

A must have for this girl = funnel cake!
