Walking

Elora is walking!

So, I am a tad belated in posting about this - but it is a HUGE milestone in Elora's development, so I didn't want to miss the opportunity to document it. Her first steps happened on Superbowl Sunday & Grandma/Grandpa Morrow got to witness! It was a slow/steady go from there, but eventually she started taking some more steps independently. 

By the time she reached 22 months (in March) she was fully walking!  She is very confident now and we rarely (if ever) see her crawl.  It has given her a new sense of independence and way of seeing the world. We love watching her short little body waddle all around :)

We thank the Lord for this last major milestone we needed to get her through (at this point in development at least). We are so thankful for those little chicken legs of hers that go-go-go! We have had a bit more boo-boos (such as falling on the driveway this weekend and cutting her chin on the pebbles), but we know it comes with the territory.
